MATTER HYDRAULIK AG has been founded in 1980 and is based in Dinhard. From that time on we have been doing business in the following sectors such as mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, oil & gas, power generation and marine engineering. We represent for the Swiss market the company KRAL regarding screw pumps and flow meters as well as the company SCHERZINGER regarding gear pumps.

aquaBoll® Automatic Filter
The aquaBoll® automatic filter from BOLL & KIRCH, distributed exclusively in Switzerland by Matter Hydraulik, is the ideal solution for applications with high demands on water quality, operational reliability, and ease of maintenance. Whether in wastewater treatment plants, HVAC systems, industrial processes, or industrial water treatment, the aquaBoll® impresses with its versatility and uncompromising performance. What makes the aquaBoll® special? With its modular platform technology, the aquaBoll® can be precisely adapted to different operating conditions. Various filter inserts, connection sizes, and materials offer maximum flexibility—with minimal maintenance. Advantages at a glance: - Self-cleaning automatic operation without interruption - Robust materials such as stainless steel or cast iron - Three filter inserts: slotted cartridges, screen cylinders, or fine screen cylinders - Wide range of filter finenesses: 10 µm to 5 mm - Connection sizes from DN 50 to DN 1000 - Pressure resistance up to 40 bar How the aquaBoll® works: Filtration takes place from the inside out: solids and particles are deposited on the surface of the filter element. When a defined differential pressure is reached, automatic backwashing begins. This removes the deposits in a targeted manner – without interrupting filter operation. Since 2025, the AQUABOLL® has been available in new welded versions made of steel or stainless steel – particularly compact, space-saving, and pressure-resistant up to 40 bar. This makes the system even more suitable for confined installation situations and demanding operating environments.

Liquid filtration for low flow volumes The BOLLFILTER Type 6.04 self-cleaning strainer is an automatic backflushing filter which is used to protect low flow plant systems such as nozzles or valves. He ensures that the required level of filtration is maintained to avoid rapid blocking and unnecessary wear. The BOLLFILTER Automatic Type 6.04 is ideal for the filtration of: Cooling lubricants, machine cooling water Washing water, cleaning water, spray water Irrigation water Industry and process water Advantages of the BOLLFILTER Automatic Type 6.04 The "plug & play" solution used by the BOLLFILTER Automatic Type 6.04 is immediately operational as a full module including the electronic control unit. The filter is designed with few components to guarantee easy access to the internal backwash unit with minimum wearing parts resulting in minimal maintenance. BOLLFILTER Duplex Type BFD – Continuous filtration without compromise In many industrial applications, uninterrupted filtration is essential for safe and efficient operation. The BOLLFILTER Duplex Type BFD offers precisely this reliability: a robust cast filter with a dual-chamber system that allows the filter to be changed during operation thanks to a ball valve switchover – without changing the flow direction and without downtime. Easy switching during operation A single turn of the lever is all it takes to switch between two filter chambers. This saves time, reduces downtime, and increases operational reliability. Versatile application The duplex filter is suitable for a wide variety of media—water, oil, fuels, or chemical liquids—and can be configured flexibly. Selectable filter elements such as star strainers, basket strainers, filter cartridges, or disposable cartridges enable filter finenesses from 0.5 µm to 5 mm. Key technical data • Nominal diameter: DN 25 – DN 150 (ANSI 1″ – 6″). • Pressure rating: PN 10 / PN 16 (higher pressures on request). • Flow rate: up to 3,000 l/min. • Filter fineness: 0.5 µm – 5 mm. • Filter elements: star strainer, basket strainer, filter cartridge, or disposable cartridge. • Housing material: ductile iron, cast steel, or cast stainless steel. • Optionally available: differential pressure indicator (optical / electrical), nickel-plated housing, stainless steel switch ball, cover lock, lifting and swiveling device (for DN 125/150).
