Conventional plastic pipes are subject to increased point loads from stones, shards and other compact materials when sand bedding is not used. This causes stress concentrations to act directly on the pipe and cause slow crack growth. Pipes made of PE 100-RC do not have these problems. The use of innovative PE 100-RC materials makes them resistant to point loads.
