KLAPPE
KLAPPE is the new, absolutely reliable hydrant cover with ALERT sensor technology. With ALERT sensor technology, hydrants, shafts, gate valves and covers report when they are opened. This system is integrated into the ORTOMAT leak detection system offering the world's leading technology. It informs the relevant response team or VONROLL HYDROSERVICE, making it possible to prevent tampering movements or water theft. VONROLL hydrants such as the VONROLL Classic are fitted with KLAPPE as standard, but third-party products can also be easily retrofitted. KLAPPE communicates via LORA and using current standard data transmission technology (mobile phone networks). KLAPPE is particularly cost-efficient, as it avoids the use of expensive separate networks with complex relay installations and high breakdown rates.
