The WATERFLUX 3070 is a battery powered electromagnetic water meter for use in water abstraction wells, district metering areas (DMA) and custody transfer measurement of potable water (MI-001, OIML R49). With optional pressure and temperature sensors, the meter can also be used for leak detection, quality control and pressure management systems. Unlike mechanical water meters, the WATERFLUX 3070 is maintenance-free and offers a much larger turn down ratio (1000:1). Its measuring tube with a rectangular and reduced cross-section enables a stable measurement even at low flow rates. Due to the optimized flow profile, the WATERFLUX 3070 can be installed virtually anywhere without straight inlet or outlet runs – behind pipe bends, slide valves or a reduction in the pipe. Even burial installation or use in flooded areas is possible. Next to battery-powered operation with integrated batteries or optional external battery pack (“PowerBlock”), the WATERFLUX 3070 offers multiple power supply options. For locations with mains power supply, an optional FlexPower unit is available to connect the battery-powered meter to a 110…230V AC or 10…30V DC power source on site, e.g. an electrical grid, a solar panel or a small windmill. For permanent transmission of multiparameter measurement readings (e.g. flow, pressure, temperature), Modbus RTU communication is available as a simple interface. For remote or difficult to access measurement points (e.g. abstraction wells), the water meter can also be equipped with a GPRS or 3G module for remote transmission of readings. A full on-site verification of the WATERFLUX 3070 without process interruption can be carried out using the OPTICHECK service tool.

OPTISONIC 6300 P
The OPTISONIC 6300 P is a portable, battery-powered ultrasonic clamp-on flowmeter for temporary flow measurement of (non-)conductive liquids in virtually all industries. It can be used at virtually any location without interrupting the process or cutting pipes. Due to its flexibility, the flowmeter is equally suited for comparative measurements on stationary measuring equipment (e.g. pumps, flowmeters etc.) or for use as a short-term replacement of faulty devices. The clamp-on flowmeter comes with a measurement option for thermal energy applications as standard. The OPTISONIC 6300 P combines robust, easy-to-mount clamp-on sensor rails with a battery-powered signal converter for 1 or 2 path measurement. The portable converter comes with full measurement functionality and an integrated data logger. All measurement data can be monitored and analysed via a smart handheld or mobile device using the OPTISONIC 6300 P mobile app. The Android app is free and makes it easy to set up and commission the clamp-on flowmeter. A user-friendly installation wizard guides the user through the configuration process. A USB cable or secure wireless Bluetooth® connection transfers data between the smart device and signal converter. All data is saved on the mobile device and can be evaluated.

The meter is the ideal solution for flow measurement of municipal or industrial wastewater in pressureless transport lines. However, the EMF is also suitable for measurement of effluent brine from dredging, mining or sea/well water injection applications. Unlike open channel systems (Venturi, V-notches etc.) the inline flowmeter is a closed measuring solution without obstructions and with a much better accuracy at lower total costs of ownership. The measuring tube of the TIDALFLUX 2300 comes with a polyurethane (PUR) liner for abrasion and chemical resistance. Its smooth surface prevents build-up of fat and other deposits which minimises the need for regular cleaning. For direct burial installation or applications in areas that can be partially flooded, the meter can be ordered as IP68 /NEMA 6P rated version. Due to the presence of flammable hydrogen sulphide (H2S) in many wastewater applications, the EMF also has ATEX / IECEx zone 1 approval. The TIDALFLUX 2300 comes with extensive diagnostics. A full on-site verification of the flowmeter without process interruption can be carried out using the OPTICHECK service tool.
